My name is Heather Scanlan and I am the proud owner of Ginger's Closet. I opened my doors on February 1, 2008 and never worked so hard and been so happy all at the same time. It has been said that circumstances in our lives lead us to our true destiny so I opened my store on a shoe string budget, a wing and a prayer, never once regretting a moment. You must be wondering who Ginger is. I needed a not so fancy name for my shop and I looked over to the other side of my livingroom and there she was, my dog.
Hey, Victoria has the Secret and I have the Ginger.
When you come and visit us, most likely Ginger will be at the door, waiting for you.
This is Ginger, she is a street dog from Puerto Rico also referred to as a Sato. This was the best $120 I ever spent, talk about getting my money's worth. When business is slow, I dress her up and take pictures of her.
Our Business
I have shopped consignment ever since I got my first job. Dressing well can be quite expensive...if you go to the mall. I started this business having no idea what I was getting into and it's been a success since the day I opened. Theres a secret, can't tell you and its worked for me since day one. Come in and discover it for yourself.
